Don't let technical issues consume your time and erode your profits!
< Our experts manage all technical operations through 3 complementary areas />
A solid technical stack
Because a high-performance site starts with choosing a quality server, we have opted for a no-compromise solution:
- VPS on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS geolocated in France, with AMD Epyc 9554 CPU (pro range), NVMe drive, and 99.9% SLA.
- Nginx web server paired with php 8.5 in fpm mode, MySQL 8.4 database engine, and Redis object cache.
- Cloudflare Pro CDN with Edge Caching (300 points of presence), ensuring fast loading worldwide.
- Security via a dual Web Application Firewall (WAF) and a proven anti-DDoS mitigation interface.
- Protection against scraping and automated malicious traffic through targeted WAF rule implementation.
- 24/7 uptime and performance monitoring to anticipate any network or hardware infrastructure issues.
- Daily backups stored in the Cloud (Amazon S3), with 90-day retention and one-minute restoration.
This allows us to offer optimal response times: TTFB under 300 ms and LCP under 2.5 seconds, among others. Smoothness is guaranteed on the most resource-intensive installations, especially those built with WooCommerce (online sales), WPML or TranslatePress (multilingual), or Elementor and Divi (page builders) plugins.

Our clients speak for us
Who better than a client to act as an ambassador and help you understand what Agence Web Performance can do for you?
We work with Agence Web Performance for the hosting and technical management of our sites, and it's a real source of peace of mind. Their technical level is solid, you can tell we're talking to experts capable of going into detail when necessary. Their responsiveness is also a real asset: in e-commerce, every minute counts. This combination of expertise + speed of execution allows us to have high-performing and properly maintained sites, without any unpleasant surprises.
What does WordPress site maintenance include?
WordPress site maintenance includes recurring operations that keep the installation healthy over time: core, plugin, and theme updates, backups, security patches, error monitoring, and database cleanup. Without maintenance, a site degrades within months, in both performance and security.
Our WordPress maintenance covers five areas. Updates, applied at least once a week on the server and the installation, after verifying they do not introduce regressions. Backups, daily and off-site from the production server, without which a backup protects nothing.
Next come security, with the application of patches as soon as they are released and monitoring of intrusion attempts; database health, whose log tables and revisions grow silently; and finally performance monitoring, where Core Web Vitals evolution is tracked in the field rather than in a lab.
This maintenance is performed on an infrastructure that we administer end-to-end: VPS and VDS servers located in France, never shared hosting. You retain control over your content; we take care of everything below, from the operating system to the WordPress configuration.

What makes WordPress hosting performant?
High-performance WordPress hosting is based on four pillars: dedicated server resources, an up-to-date software stack, a well-configured server cache, and continuous supervision. The absence of resource sharing most clearly distinguishes a high-performance offer from an entry-level one.
We've opted for some of the most powerful VPS on the market. Their 3.1 GHz 16-core AMD EPYC 9554 CPU is backed by 32 GB of RAM, for simply unmatched performance. The Geekbench 6 scores, the benchmark tool of reference, are as follows:
- Single core: 2000
- Multi core: 13,500
The software stack, installed on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS Linux, is designed to take full advantage of this raw power. As a result, your WordPress feels like it's on steroids: administration is ultra-responsive, and cache generation is much faster. Contributors and clients alike can fully benefit from this.
You mention proactivity, how does that translate?
We intervene at least once a week on the site to update the server and the WordPress installation.
A web performance expert also performs analysis of the performance data collected in the field via our performance monitoring tool. This is a service that is also available as a standalone offering and is highly valued by our clients.
Based on the evolution of Core Web Vitals, we can then make technical changes, or send a message to highlight potential areas for improvement related to practices such as contributions or the use of third-party tools.
You can therefore continue to feed and maintain your site, and we will take care of verifying that this does not introduce any regressions.
How responsive is technical support?
We respond to inquiries via the messaging system provided for this purpose within one to two hours on weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Depending on the criticality, message exchanges and technical interventions may be carried out on weekends or public holidays.
What is the cost of this service?
The service costs €450 excl. tax per month, as an all-inclusive package: hosting, server management, WordPress maintenance, backups, performance monitoring, and technical support are included, with no extra charges or per-incident billing. The subscription is monthly and without a time commitment.
Given the uncompromising approach of this managed, maintained, and monitored hosting offer, its cost is however higher than most existing solutions, with the exception of certain Premium Cloud offers.
It is therefore primarily aimed at e-commerce businesses, publishers of high-traffic information or news sites, or SaaS solutions or affiliate sites with high availability and high performance constraints.
What is the difference between WordPress hosting and managed services?
Hosting provides the machine; managed services provide the human labor that keeps it running. A traditional host rents you resources and guarantees they stay on; managed services handle daily operations: server configuration, updates, security, backups, and supervision.
The distinction is crucial on WordPress, where performance depends as much on software stack tuning as on raw power. Two sites installed on the same server can have response times ranging from one to five times slower depending on the configuration of PHP, cache, and the database. This tuning is the responsibility of IT management, never hosting alone.
Our service covers both levels, as well as performance monitoring. Therefore, you don't have to choose between a host, a maintenance provider, and a performance expert: a single point of contact is responsible for the entire chain.
What does WordPress site maintenance include?
Maintenance covers core, plugin, and theme updates, backups, security patches, error monitoring, and database upkeep. Each update is verified before application, as a poorly updated plugin breaks more sites than an obsolete one.
We intervene at least once a week on both the server and the installation, and backups are daily and outsourced. The section on maintenance, higher up on this page, details the five aspects covered and what remains your responsibility, namely your content.
Which host to choose for a fast WordPress site?
Six technical criteria distinguish a fast host from a cheap one: non-shared CPU and memory resources, a recent PHP version with properly sized OPcache, NVMe storage, server cache, HTTP/3 enabled, and servers located near your visitors.
The criterion that weighs the most remains the first one. On shared hosting, resources are shared among hundreds of sites: your response time then depends on your neighbors' traffic, without you being able to do anything about it. Moving to a dedicated server or a VPS is the only way to regain control.
No offer can be judged by its sales pitch. The verdict is read in the site's real-world TTFB, measured during your actual traffic hours: this metric, and only this one, tells you if your hosting lives up to its promises.
Can shared hosting be performant?
Rarely, and never guaranteed. The principle of shared hosting is to distribute the same server among hundreds of accounts: resources are shared and not reserved. Therefore, a site can be fast during off-peak hours and slow at the same time as a neighbor launches a heavy process.
Structural limitations are also added: no access to PHP or database configuration, InnoDB buffer pool left at its default value, server cache absent or imposed, and inability to install an object cache. Half of the performance levers become inaccessible, regardless of the care taken with the site itself.
A shared hosting plan remains defensible for a low-traffic showcase site with no conversion stakes. As soon as there is a store, a significant audience, or a Core Web Vitals objective, it is the first item to evolve, before any front-end optimization.
